Hand Sewing in Practice

Hand Sewing in Practice is a live VIRTUAL workshop centered around practical hand sewing through the creation of a functional fabric pouch.

Participants will learn five foundational techniques used for sewing, mending, garment repair, and everyday utility while exploring the idea that sewing is not limited to a machine, but can begin simply with your hands, a needle, and thread.

Designed to encourage confidence and self-sufficiency, this workshop offers an approachable introduction to sewing through practical, hands-on making.

Each participant will receive Hand Sewing Essentials prior to the workshop, thoughtfully assembled to support both the learning experience and continued practice beyond the class. The finished pouch is also designed to become part of these essentials, serving as a place to store tools and extend practice beyond the workshop.
