Macramé Market Bag is a practical introduction to macramé through the creation of a functional handbag.
In this 2.5 hour workshop, participants will learn foundational knotting techniques while constructing a reusable open-net carry bag designed for everyday use. Rooted in utility and handcraft, the workshop explores macramé as both a historical textile practice and a contemporary method of making functional objects by hand.
Participants will work with cotton macramé cord while learning techniques for structure, spacing, tension, and finishing.
